FINCA MAGDALENA

You'll have to walk about 10 minutes from the road to reach this famous little spot in the backpacker world, as it was one of the first to open on the island of Ometepe. The whole place is very rustic, but broke people will appreciate it. It's true that the view of the Concepción volcano is fantastic and the atmosphere is festive. Cheap but not very typical food. There are many petroglyphs in the area. You can also climb the Maderas volcano: the Finca trail is a favorite of the island's guides.
