This large basalt cross, 4 metres wide and 11 metres high, was erected by Carlos Ferrey on January 1, 1901, to celebrate the new century. It stands on the outskirts of Granada Cathedral (you won't want to miss it). At the top, a chalice and a bunch of grapes represent the blood of Christ. The arms of the cross bear various inscriptions referring to the Gospels and Christ's union with humanity. At the foot of the cross, a skull and bones (crossed femurs) symbolize Adam's bones.

Rien d'original mais pas de détour pour la voir, elle saute aux yeux dans le parque central.
