HOTEL REAL LA MERCED
A beautiful 18-room hotel in a neo-colonial style. Staying here is immersed in the history of Granada, making a leap in the architectural beauties of the past. After the destruction of the home in the 1900 th century, «Casa Caesar» was born in. The Zampieri family, of Italian origin, later built what will be the first swimming pool in the city, real attraction at the time, works by architect Mario Favilli (author of the monument homage to Rubén Darío in Managua). Over time, this house disappeared in ruins and oblivion. The wonderful restoration work that ended in 2015 followed the original plan, the ceiling height (5 metres), the doors of the doors (3,5 metres high) and windows (some are integrated in the upper part of the doors because you could not open windows in Adobe walls). The elegant and majestic spirit of the place is present. Columns, arches, delicate mouldings, pink marble staircase, antique furniture and antiques… all combined with the modern comfort of a luxury hotel. The suites overlook the Mombacho Volcano or the La Merced church. The deluxe rooms open on the inner patio. A hotel that we recommend, both for its historical and quiet surroundings and for the attention of every moment that is brought to you by the staff.
