TISCAPA LAGOON
You can recognize the place by the imposing silhouette of Sandino, which seems to watch over the sleep of the capital's inhabitants. The view is beautiful at night, but during the day it's easier to appreciate the strange configuration of Managua (houses lost in a large, shaggy jungle): a magnificent panorama. A platform has been set up for observing wildlife. Black-and-white and color photos illustrating the country's history are also on display. And you can still see the cells used during the Somozist regime to torture political prisoners.
