Trevarefabrikken, on the banks of the fjord in Henningsvær, is much more than a hotel: it's a vibrant blend of industrial history and contemporary culture. A former factory from the 1940s, transformed by four friends, it offers 10 unique rooms, from cosy to lofts, designed by renowned architects. The Hermetikken café-restaurant serves seasonal local cuisine, including wood-fired pizzas, and the Trandamperiet bar brings the village together. The wooden sauna overlooks the Vestfjord and plunges into the sea. A dynamic cultural center, it organizes concerts, DJ sets, screenings, yoga and the Trevarefest festival. Hotel, bar and café open daily from February to November and on weekends in November and December. The restaurant is open daily between June and August, and at weekends the rest of the year.
