At the other end of the village is a group of rorbuer, the oldest of which date from the 1800s. Tastefully restored, they are equipped with a kitchenette and a shower. A cold room and a grill for freezing and cooking freshly caught fish are available to guests. In the main building overlooking the docks, a lovely little café made of white wood is arranged around its central fireplace. The rorbu is a fisherman's hut on stilts typical of northern Norway, more precisely of Lofoten.

A Henningsvaer landmark, Trevarefabrikken is a project led by 4 friends who took on the challenge of renovating a huge building where shrimps used to be peeled, to welcome visitors from all over the world. Today, these walls steeped in history house 4 hotel rooms and 1 loft. The decor is raw and faithful to the past, without compromising on comfort.
