Shuttle bus terminates in Leutenhaven, past the Radisson SAS Hotel and train station. Do not hesitate to tell the driver where you want to stop. Journey time is 45 minutes. The airport connects Trondheim to all major cities in Norway and several European cities.

Daily trains to Oslo, Bodø and Sweden. Regional trains and bus departures to the airport. The bus station is next to the train station. Tip: take the night trains if you want to save time. To give you an idea, the journey from Trondheim to Oslo takes about 7.5 hours. There are regular departures and the fares are quite affordable. On board public transport, Norwegians are often quite strict on the respect of silence.

Within easy walking distance of the city centre via the railway station, taking the coastal express for a day or more will allow you to explore the surrounding islands while taking a trip to the sea. Regular departures, no booking required but possible via the website. Take line 800 to Kristiansund.
