The alliance between Brazil and Norway is perfect. A retro and warm interior, designed by Øyvind, passionate about recycling antique furniture. And above all, in echoes of Marcos' Brazilian origins, the sun on the plates! Spices, sweet potatoes, orange or mango sauce... The art of inviting the tropics to mix with cold water products. To enjoy the view, stop off at the Bryggekanten brewery. From the heated terrace, as if suspended above the harbour, you can enjoy an unobstructed view of the island of Nordlandet and its pretty, colourful houses. On the menu, which is fairly good quality, you'll find daily specials, burgers, fish & chips and pizza. The cod ceviche is particularly tasty. For a more refined experience, there's the restaurant upstairs!

Overlooking the bank of the first lake on the way to Varden is a pretty, cosy white cottage. Typically the place where young mothers meet to drink tea after a walk, a space is dedicated to children in the garden. Sheepskins cover the wooden benches, and you can sit down and enjoy one of the many coffees on the menu with a shrimp, salmon or ham sandwich... And why not the famous cinnamon roll for a sweet treat? A very pleasant address, where the sparrows almost come to sip your latte.

Nestled 5 minutes from the pier, in a pretty red house, Smia is THE good address in Kristiansund. In a warm setting, you can eat fresh and local food by the fire. Fish, of course, including the famous klippfisk, which can be found in every sauce! As a starter, the halibut filet with orange delights our taste buds. For dessert, the homemade cheesecake gives the final touch to this meal worthy of a semi-gastronomic. Please note that the kitchen closes 30 minutes before closing time. Reservation recommended.

With a bit of luck, the Mia will be at the dock when you pass by. It's not a restaurant, but a nice fishing boat that sells its shrimps fresh! You can buy your pound overboard before going to the harbour to eat it all as an aperitif, hopefully under a ray of sunshine! Don't forget to take a jar of mayonnaise from the local supermarket, a loaf of cereal bread, and depending on your mood, a bottle of chilled white wine. Happiness guaranteed!

The Dødeladen restaurant is ideally located on the harbor in what used to be a trading establishment. In a relaxed atmosphere, the friendly staff will present you with a varied menu, mainly based on fish. In the kitchen, klippfisk (Norwegian cod) is arranged with sweet potato, redfish is presented au gratin, and Viennese cutlets are revisited with a local sauce. The restaurant is particularly popular with locals, which contributes to the warm atmosphere.
