Flåmsbrygga is a complex comprising a hotel, Flåmstova restaurant, Furukroa Cafè and aegir BrewPub. The hotel is small and intimate, with a distinctive style that is both traditional and rustic, yet modern and delicate. The restaurant shares a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with beautiful views over the harbor and fjord. The aegir BrewPub building is inspired by Norse mythology and reminiscent of a moated church. aegir beer is world-class and has won medals in international competitions. An ideal base camp in Flåm!

The hotel has existed since the mid-19th century. It was built on the site of an old farm. At that time, the first tourists, mainly rich English lords, began to flock to visit Songefjord. The rooms were designed accordingly. Today you can sleep in some of the tastefully renovated rooms, or in the newer rooms dating from the 1960s. The 121-room hotel is a listed building. Pets are welcome here. Kayaks and boats for hire.

This place offers many options (small or large chalets, youth hostel, land to put your tent or camper van, facing the sublime surrounding nature. The facilities are basic, but clean and well maintained. You stay here to rent bicycles, take a ride on a reconstructed drakkar, discover the Sognefjord, see the Brekkefossen waterfall and maybe take the famous train! Grocery store nearby.

Hotel located in Myrdal. It can only be reached on foot or by small train, as there are no roads to Myrdal. From there, we have a view on all the Sognefjord, from the top of the 820 meters of unevenness. It's worth the detour! Built in 1953 and renovated in 2017, this hotel offers many welcome amenities, such as sauna on request and free for hotel residents, or dinner by reservation. In the summer, there's even a small pool outside.

Just 400 metres from Flåm train station, close to Aurlandsfjord, this guesthouse has 22 rooms that were renovated in 2018. A very warm welcome, simple but efficient and comfortable furniture. The view over the fjord is quite impressive from the panoramic restaurant and it is nice to have a coffee in the quiet garden or in the lounge. Excellent value for money. The team will be happy to give you ideas for walks or things to do/see in the area, so don't hesitate to ask them.

In Aurland, you can choose between Wanger Apartments, several private fjordfront apartments with 1 to 3 bedrooms, or Aurland Guesthouse, which offers double or triple rooms with shared access to the rest of the house.
