One of the best restaurants in town in a very cosy old house. Traditional cuisine in a rustic setting, with a large collection of oil lamps. Inventive and international cuisine. The pub part is also very developed and especially for sports and in particular the replay of football matches. A large choice of draught and bottled beers. On match nights, don't expect to have a quiet dinner with your partner!

One of our favourite places in Kristiansand. Here we are at the crossroads of authenticity, local cuisine, originality and gourmet restaurant. The menu changes according to the seasons and the food. There is something for everyone. You can see the chefs at work in the kitchen which overlooks the dining room. The place is warm and subdued. The dishes are well balanced, super tasty, not too salty and very well presented. Plus, there's wifi if you need to work! That said, you are apparently on holiday! We recommend it!

On the heights of the city, in the heart of the Ravnedalen park, the Café Généralen and its beautiful terrace, opens its doors in summer to the delight of locals and tourists. Burgers, bars and concerts nearby, the place is always full! Also vegan plates with tofu. Soups, and also children's menus for NOK 130, such as fries, juice, ice cream and a choice of mini-burger or sausage. Located in the charming fish market, the restaurant was originally a salt warehouse. A haunt for marine enthusiasts. Very good Norwegian cuisine. The establishment is like a huge glass roof overlooking the fjord, so you feel like you're in the middle of nature while being warm, which can be very pleasant on a sunny but cold and windy day. Most of the food is made with local products. Menus or à la carte. Children's menus also available.
