The Kon-Tiki is the balsa raft used in 1947 by Thor Heyerdahl on one of his scientific expeditions to Easter Island in the Pacific. An expedition that made him famous the world over. The Ra II is also on display. This is a papyrus raft that enabled the explorer to cross the Atlantic from Morocco to Barbados in 1970. This small but interesting museum retraces the explorer's travels through photos, texts and films.

Le musée Kon Tiki propose de revivre l'épopée de Thor Heyerdahl , le musée est un peu petit mais mérite dyfaire un passage après le FRAM.

Le film m'avait procuré beaucoup d'émotions, cette histoire vraie du Kon-Tiki bouleversante !

Si vous avez lu le livre, ou vu le film, il faut boucler la boucle avec la visite du musée, je ne pouvais pas faire l'impasse dessus.

Et si vous ne connaissais pas l'aventure du Kon-Tiki, alors il faut visiter le musée et vous donner envie de voir le film !

The book I had seen the film, it I had read missed I only museum! Since my childhood, Thor Heyerdahl was, in my eyes, the fair hero with blue eyes, who had crossed the Atlantic. I was not disappointed by the museum which is fairly well designed. I am quite surprised by description that Petit Futé in fact! So as me you were impressed by this crazy adventure, you must visit this museum!
