Luciadagen, December 13, is a celebration in honour of Saint Lucia of Syracuse. With Advent, it marks the beginning of the Christmas season. It is celebrated in Scandinavia. In Norway, it is the opportunity for the lussebulle or lussekatt and to make a torchlight retreat. Every year, a concert is given in Oslo Cathedral.
