A ski festival not to be missed under any circumstances if you are passing through at that time. The festival has been held every year since 1892. While it is highly appreciated by Nordic skiers and ski jumping enthusiasts, it actually brings together a large part of Oslo's population, who leave the city centre to go to Holmenkollen and spend one of the most watered weekends of the year! OSLO PRIDE

Oslo Pride lasts 4 days, with art exhibitions, debates, concerts and, of course, a parade through downtown Oslo! Oslo Pride celebrates diversity, love, sex and, above all, the right to choose who you love! No one is free until everyone is free! The parade runs from the Greenland district to Spikersuppa, and the streets of Oslo are filled with joy and rainbows. The parade usually starts at around 1 p.m. and finishes about three hours later, depending on the number of participants.

Presentation of the Nobel Peace Prize at the Oslo City Hall in the presence of the Royal Family, the Nobel Prize Committee and a few residents and personalities. Since 1901, the Nobel Prizes have been awarded on December 10, the anniversary of Alfred Nobel's death. As stipulated in Nobel's will, the Nobel Prizes for Physics, Chemistry, Physiology or Medicine and Literature are awarded in Stockholm, Sweden, while the Nobel Peace Prize is awarded in Oslo, Norway.

Every year, the Nobel Peace Festival is held at the end of summer in Oslo.
