Saad Yayah has turned this place into a veritable oasis of greenery and tranquillity, "far from stress and with eyes full of change of scenery", he announces! The inn is made up of traditional circular houses built of dry earth, which are reached by following beautiful stone paths lined with palm trees. The interior, like all Mauritanian homes, is furnished with mats, carpets and richly decorated cushions. Many activities are organized, but you can also simply relax and admire the magnificent sunsets.

Gorgeous little place with several types of accommodation offered (from private rooms to ensuite) with AC, nice bedding and showers - some rooms even have bathtubs.
Everything is clean, the little round dry stone houses are a masterpiece, the Management and staff are very helpful and the area, a bit further away from the chaos of Atar, is very relaxing…

Agradable, hacen lo posible por hacerte setir en casa. Por fin un albergue con camas cómodas (por lo menos en las suites) y no los bloques de cemento que acostumbramos a encontrar en Mauritania

Merveilleux séjour à l'auberge Oued Illij. Saad vous accueille dans une auberge rénovée et arborée dans la splendide vallée d'Azougui.Chambre vaste et propre. Bonne literie. WIFI fonctionnel. Privilégier les suites avec salle de bain. Délicieux méchoui à commander à l'avance. Personnel sympathique et prévenant. Une des meilleures adresses de l'Adrar.
En un lugar bien ubicado.
