Arkeiss is one, if not the only, village in the Banc d'Arguin National Park to visit if you're short of time. A charming village nestled at the foot of Cap Tafarit, between cliffs and beaches, it offers a number of campsites inviting you to swim, fish, bird-watch or walk. In the off-season, when its inhabitants leave for the city, particularly for their children's schooling, the village takes on the air of an atypical ghost town. All in all, a must for anyone visiting the PNBA.
