Ahmed Mahmoud, known as "Gemal", a Mauritanian intellectual, has no fewer than 10,000 books and manuscripts in his home in Nouakchott. A journey through time and space. All this between comfortable carpets, elegant armchairs, dozens of shelves and a small table set with fruit juices and dates. Gemal welcomes his guests in the library set up in one of the living rooms of his home. Coins, hats, lamps, boxes, photos, stamps and more complete Gemal's collection, which she inherited from her grandparents.
