Fayaoué beach is the largest in New Caledonia and is 25 km long. It stretches from Lékiny, in the south, to Saint-Joseph, in the north, with its magnificent stretches of white sand bordered by coconut trees against the backdrop of an emerald lagoon. It is also here that we find the administrative center of the island and its airport. On the side of visit, do not miss its caves: the Anubet cave in the heart of the forest, where you can admire the famous parakeet, the notous, the crabs... or the Hulup cave, full of legends. At the foot of the cliffs of Ceu, from this cave, many inhabitants said in the past that they heard noises similar to thunder.
