Faré with barbecue and a shared sanitary block for campers and guests.

Located right next door to Chez Hélène Gaze, Rachelle is none other than her daughter-in-law. Rachelle takes time with each of her guests. Her husband proposes a kava of arrival and the beach on which the lodging is located is quite simply superb (extension of Luengoni). A faré with a barbecue has been set up for the campers and all guests share a sanitary block. Unfortunately, the land and buildings of Rachelle were not spared by the cyclone Hola. If the accommodation in huts remains comfortable, we recommend the paillotes.

Mais quel accueil chaleureux dans cette tribu! J'ai eu une mauvaise experience chez Jeannette, mon experience chez waka était l'opposé. Rachel est ADORABLE! Elle nous a fait goûter des fruits de ses champs. Son voisin est venu discuter avec nous. Je me suis sentie a l'aise dans cette tribu accueillante. La plage qui borde le gîte a l'atout d'être moins fréquentée par les touristes. Il est possible d'y voir les baleines courant juillet-août. J'y ai aussi vu une tortue. La magnifique plage (ma préférée) de Luengoni est à proximité. Cuisine a disposition. Un gite sans prétention mais qui m'a le plus touché. Si je retourne a Lifou, je retournerais dans chez waka sans hésitation.
