FÊTE DE LA VANILLE

Departure for the Mu tribe, 150 years after the arrival in Ahmelewedr of an English missionary and the birth of the very first vanilla plants. Kaneka concerts, traditional dances, canoe building, traditional medicine, sandalwood carvings, pandanus hats and baskets and turtle catching demonstration... It is also an opportunity to visit vanilla plantations and to discover how vanilla is produced: from pollination to the drying of the pods. And above all, don't hesitate to bring some back!
