Good address very authentic suggesting a horseback ride to the waterfall of Kouaré.
Coming from Boulouparis, take the first road on the right after the sign of Nakalé. Continue straight ahead.
Coming from Thio village, take thesecond road on the left. It is the white house on the hillock at the end of the track. You will be lodged in one of the two 4-person cottages, with shared sanitary facilities. Raymond, the owner, has been a stockman since he was a child and offers horseback riding on his property or to the Kouaré waterfall, while his son, Alain, prepares delicious meals.

Superbe balade à cheval avec Raymond, les vues sont magnifiques. Et un super repas au retour de la demi-journée, préparé par Alain !

What a pleasant surprise! The cottage is about nine miles from the sea on a small hill (a bit misleading).
Welcome is very warm and smiling by Alain who has managed to have his region to us by indicating the mines us, waterfalls, hot water spring...
Very comfortable bungalow with ceiling fan, very good bedding,... Small flat however: it lacks light.
The bathrooms are approximately twenty metres: large shower, toilet, dark, mirror. They were clean, as well as the bungalow.
Dinner. What a delight! Alain made the hotel school gardens and it shows. Very copious, we had fried manioc (way chips), vegetable achars, peppers (trèèèèèèèès extremely), deer stew with sweet potatoes, salad, bananas flambée...
For breakfast, Alain confirmed his culinary talents of the day before: jams houses (guavas, mangoes,...), fresh fruit (grapes, apples liana, birdlife park,...), yoghurts, toast.
It is possible to horse riding from the cottage.
Three, we have payé15 000 F: dine, night, breakfast. It is by far the best value for money in our past three weeks in New Caledonia.
