Count on 4 hours of walking to complete 8.2 km. Start the trail at the Ouitchambo tribal house, near the ruins of Devambez Castle. Then follow a trail that leads out of the tribe to the crayfish ponds. Go around the ponds and into the rainforest. The trail gradually gains altitude. From time to time, you can see the peak of Ouitchambo through the canopy. The trail continues gently up to the pass, from where you can see the plains and the Ouitchambo peak.
