With a surface area of 40 km², it is the largest in the country! At the eastern end, the Yaté dam impresses by its dimensions. 45 meters high and 641 meters long, it is located at an altitude of 160 meters and the thickness of its wall varies between 2.3 meters and 9 meters. Built in 1959, it provides 20% of the country's electricity. A path leads from the site to the power station of the municipality and it takes 1h30 for the descent, which is delightful. One meets there in particular a rare fauna and some carnivorous plants... A foot race crosses it every year.

On peut y voir entre autre la foret immergée ou certain oiseaux de proie on fait leur nid et tourne dans le ciel bleu vers le barrage
Le lac de Yaté est réputé pour de la pêche sportive pour ceux que cela intéresse.
