FESTIVAL FEMMES FUNK

Created in 1988, this unique music festival (funk, groove, world music, blues) puts women in the spotlight, 21 years of existence and commitment for more visibility for these talented musicians. Since 2012, it takes place at the Tjibaou cultural center and spreads over several days. Beyond its feminist commitment, the festival aims to be an opportunity for musical encounters, a place where people meet and exchange while being rocked, or dragged, by the rhythm of the artists who perform there, on stage or elsewhere!
