The Barista Café is one of the new trendy coffee shops in Noumea, Australian style. Especially popular in the morning, it is the place to go for a good coffee (some would even say the best in Noumea) before starting work. There is a wide choice of coffees and teas and above all a nice menu of pastries, pastries, salads and snacks. Ideal place for a breakfast, but not only. The Barista Café is also a good address for lunch, especially thanks to their "Build Your Own Sandwich" option.

Great spot in central Nouméa for coffee lovers! The coffee here is fantastic—probably the closest you’ll get to Melbourne’s coffee scene in New Caledonia. They offer free Wi-Fi, which is super reliable and makes it a great place to catch up on socials. The vibe is modern and welcoming, with a solid selection of food. As a non-French speaker, I noticed the staff seemed a bit less engaging, possibly due to the language barrier or possibly just over cashed up bogans from cruise liners. Prices are a touch high, but the quality makes it worth it. Highly recommend for a proper coffee fix!

Nice barista made coffee, some pastry snacks, and free wifi! Doing a cruise on the Carnival Splendor to Noumea and this place is just around the corner from where the Carnival shuttle bus drops you off. If you're after a coffee and snack, I can highly recommend this place. Just be advised that at the time of posting this review, the exchange rate meant a small coffee cost me $7. But you're on holiday, so just do it :-)
