In the early evening, the Bodega is a nice bar above the lagoon. Then, around 7:30 pm, it is THE club of Noumea, where all the young people meet on weekends. Is it because it is built on the water, is it because of the very good arranged rums and the variety of music (from rock to samba)? Whatever the case, this intergenerational success is not denied. It is one of the most beautiful places in Noumea to have an aperitif at sunset, see a concert and dance until the end of the evening.

Pire bar de la Nouvelle -Calédonie. Laisse rentrer en majorité les zoreilles à la place des personnes d’ici????. À fuir ! Sans parler des prix abusifs !

Came here because the tapas menu on the website looked good. That’s not what the menu was. Food was less than average and my husband was violently ill all night after eating the crispy chicken and ham and cheese croquettes. Waiter seemed to be hating life. Pretty boring place to be honest. Has potential as it’s a nice location.
