At the water's edge, the decrepit flashy green building houses Sittwe's local market. A colourful market once again. Here, fresh fish land on the stalls in the morning from the delta. The dried fish stalls are impressive, but above all very fragrant. Under the market halls you will find everything from fruit and vegetables to colourful fabrics and even a few stalls with slightly more modern clothes.

Un grand moment de dépaysement surtout dans la partie des poissions séchés entiers mais coupés en lanières.
Les odeurs en plus mais les birmans vont tellement rigoler de votre air que finalement vous finirez par en sourire vous même...
