Going around the pagoda, a seemingly endless zaungdan leads to the top of the hill where the legendary bird landed. Now a pagoda is dedicated to him. But if the legend is poetic, the place is above all a beautiful viewpoint on the plain to admire and enjoy the sunset. The merits of the construction of the Hintha Gon pagoda are attributed to the hermit monk U-Khanti. This same monk also built the monuments of the famous and high Mandalay Hill, a place equally popular at sunset.
