THONE ZU

If you were to see only one, it would be this one. Every square centimetre of the ceiling and interior walls is covered with decorative drawings, 13th century frescoes, Buddha figures, mythical monsters and unfinished paintings depicting the many lives of Buddha. This beautiful brick temple, therefore ochre in colour, is distinguished by its singular architecture: it is in fact the result of three temples, the structures of the sanctuaries being joined and connected to each other by a narrow passage.
