Saint Germain à la Rouelle, also called Saint Germain le Scot or of Scotland or of the sea, is a Catholic saint, an evangelizer of the Hague. The church dedicated to him is the current parish church. Built after the separation of Church and State, it was opened for worship on September 6, 1908. It has a high altar decorated with a bas-relief of Saint Germain le Scot. It is listed as a historical monument.

Eglise Saint-Germain-Le Scot de Carteret 50270 Barneville-Carteret
J'ai dû me contenter de l'extérieur de l'Eglise Saint-Germain située à Barneville-Carteret lors de ma venue courant août. En effet, cette église était fermée au public et les accès condamnés et interdits, ainsi qu'en attestait l'arrêté de Mairie pour raison de sécurité. J'ai remarqué que certains vitraux étaient cassés. Quel dommage !
