There are two Inle Palace on the shores of Inle Lake. Both nestled in a bamboo hut painted in flashy green, you can't miss them! There is Nyaung Shwe's restaurant on the main street. Here you can enjoy the pleasant open terrace upstairs to sip a cocktail of local rum or eat a good local dish. But if we go for a walk, let's opt for a lunch at the other, more picturesque address: on stilts next to the teak deck of the small village of Mein Thauk.
