BAN PHOUNG XIENG NOI

This village is located 2 km northwest of Pakbeng. The village consists of 65 khmu families, with a population of 350 people. The main activities are agriculture and animal husbandry. You will be able to discover the traditional khmu way of life. The khmu New Year celebration, "Boun Kler", is held in mid-February. In addition, the villagers, mostly animists, also produce various handicrafts such as, rice basket, bamboo fan, broom grass, bamboo table ... The village has become a tourist destination.
