FESTIVAL DES ÉLÉPHANTS DE SAYABOURY

The Elephant Festival, which takes place over several days, was created in 2006 by the NGO ElefantAsia to raise national and international public awareness about the conservation of the country's emblematic animal. The event, which attracts thousands of people every year, honours this majestic pachyderm: activities, parades, music, election of the most beautiful animal, baci in its honour... More than sixty elephants take part in the festival.
