The cultivation of cocoa (and coffee) is not a new thing in Togo, but has always been intended for the export of the raw product. This is what the dynamic cooperative Choco Togo has decided to remedy. The cocoa is grown in Kpalimé and then processed in the association's premises, located in the north of Lomé. It is also possible to organize a tour of the plantations to learn everything about the making of chocolate, from the bean to the finished product, and to taste the different products, naturally!
