Opened in 1987 and located on the city's main tourist avenue, Goldener Erker is named after its golden corbel. The café is directly attached to the outside wall of the church of St. Maurice (Moritzkirche) and has 30 places inside and 80 additional places on the terrace in summer. It is famous for its various ice creams.
