Wilhelmine and her husband, Margrave Friedrich, used to spend their summer months in this 52-hectare piece of nature.

It is in this small 52-hectare natural area, about 5 km from the city centre, that Wilhelmine and her husband, Margrave Friedrich, used to spend their summer months. With its fountains, grottoes, ruins and pavilions, it is a very pleasant park for a walk in good weather.

TheAltes Schloss dates from 1715: its interior was refurbished by Wilhelmine with a Japanese cabinet, a music room, etc.

The Neues Schloss (1749-1753) houses an orangery. It has a surprising covering of rock crystals of different colours.
