The city of Bayreuth can boast a young music festival that rediscovers little-known Baroque operas created by great composers. Following its first edition in September 2020, the festival has made a name for itself in the hearts of the people of this city which, with Wagner, is already attracting music lovers from all over the world. The Bayreuth Baroque Festival enjoys the grand setting of the Margraves' Opera House (Märkgräfliches Opernhaus) in the heart of the city. Among the headliners in 2025: the famous Argentine conductor Leonardo García-Alarcón.
