A traditional brewery - the first organic brewery in Germany - where the delicious Nuremberg red beer is produced.
This brewery, not far from the castle, was the first organic brewery in Germany. The traditional Nuremberg red beer is produced here, as well as whisky (which is similar to beer, but without hops). The brewery is the starting and finishing point for a tour of the underground galleries where beer was once stored deep underground. In the small shop next door, you can both buy tickets for a tour and good lagers, browns or amber beers.

reserved for public rather young and unjustly relaxed, the place is especially appreciated from its proximity to the medieval old town of Nuremberg and a stop for tourists who do not leave trodden paths too much.
