The youth hostel is located on the edge of the town and offers a splendid view of the surrounding countryside.
The youth hostel is located in the fortress of Passau. It's a picturesque location with a historic building on a hill: be prepared to climb a little! The youth hostel is part of the DJH network (Deutsches Jugendherbergswerk), the largest network of youth hostels in Germany. You have to become a member to stay there. The annual membership costs between 7 and 25 € depending on age. Very good services.

This hostel is not like the others! It is housed in an ancient fortress located on a hill overlooking the city. With stunning views and completely renovated buildings it promises a pleasant stay not only for groups but also for couples and families. However, the prices are not least expensive and you need a little physics to climb the hill.
