Founded in 1970, the Bavarian Forest National Park is the largest protected forest area in Central Europe. Nicknamed the green roof of Europe, it offers wild forests as far as the eye can see! With 300 km of marked trails, 200 km of cycling routes and 46 ski slopes, it's one of the best places to enjoy nature. Emblematic species such as the brown bear, wolf, European bison and lynx await the most patient photographers!

The Bavarian Forest National Park covers an area of 24,250 hectares and is the largest forest area in Central Europe with the only primeval forest in Germany . In addition to discovering its unspoiled nature and rare animal species such as the lynx or the wolf, it offers you some 130 peaks rising toover 1,000 meters in altitude to hike. You can enjoy the Arber, Osser, Rachel, Lusen and even the Brotjacklriegel. With 300 km of walking trails and 200 km of bike paths, it is the ideal place for cyclists, mountain bikers, and for spending a vacation in the fresh air with the family. A great experience not to be missed.

Nous avons tout de même passé une belle journée. Les chemins sont magnifiques, il y a suffisamment de toilettes dans le parc ...... Malheureusement, le kiosque n'était pas non plus ouvert !
En résumé, si vous voulez vous promener dans la nature et dans une belle région, c'est l'endroit idéal !
Par contre, nous avons été enthousiasmés par les différents oiseaux que l'on pouvait observer !
C'était presque kitsch ????. Malheureusement, nous avons dû faire demi-tour, car le chemin était fermé pour protéger les aulacodes. Magnifique quand même
