Founded in 1970, the Bavarian Forest National Park is the largest protected forest area in Central Europe. Nicknamed the green roof of Europe, it offers wild forests as far as the eye can see! With 300 km of marked trails, 200 km of cycling routes and 46 ski slopes, it's one of the best places to enjoy nature.
