A playground of discovery in the heart of the mountains, on the site of a former salt mine. Opened in 1517, the Berchtesgaden salt mine was in continuous operation for over 500 years. Today, you'll take the mine train down into the depths to admire the salt cathedral. Afterwards, the more courageous will slide down the toboggans to the Spiegelsee lake, to literally plunge into the depths of the Alps. Fun and magical!
