A beautiful mountain for beautiful views of the lake and the surrounding area. You can climb the Wallbergbahn by cable car.

This mountain offers magnificent panoramic views of the Tegernsee and the Bavarian Alps. The climb can be made on foot (allow 2h30), by cable car (rather quick, about ten minutes) or by car to the halfway point. As soon as you arrive at the cable car station on the ridge, the view over the valley is splendid. There's another 150 m of ascent on an easy path. You're now 1,722 metres above sea level. There's a panoramic restaurant 30 minutes from the summit.
