An art gallery, founded in the 1980's, that showcases American expressionist art from the 1940's and 1950's.
Founded in 1986, the American Contemporary Art Gallery has been focusing on American abstract expressionism of the 1940s and 1950s for over 30 years. During this period, these artistic and pictorial movements made New York the essential capital of modern art, dethroning Paris. In agreement with the foundation, masterworks by James Brooks, Sam Francis, Charles Pollock and Jack Tworkov are on public view in temporary exhibitions.
