A famous Munich establishment known for its (a kind of fried gnocchi like doughnuts).

One of Munich's oldest bakeries, a must for pastry lovers. Café Frischhut is the real name of the establishment, but it's the famous Schmalznudeln that have made its reputation: these are a kind of large gnocchi fried like doughnuts. Ideal for breakfast! The pastries are good value for money, and the choice is varied: we particularly like the brioches!
