A charming hotel with café and restaurant, close to the centre and the Theresienwiese, where the Beer Festival is celebrated.

A beautiful charming hotel and the oldest concert café in Munich (since 1899). It is also a restaurant for the pleasure of its guests. Rooms with character, antique furniture, wooden floors and an authentic period staircase, the establishment has a real cachet! Breakfast is served downstairs in the café (Am Beethovenplatz), usually to the sound of a grand piano. Facing the university medical library, the place benefits from the liveliness of the street. During the Oktoberfest period, room prices double.

War eigentlich mal einer meine Lieblingsorte in München, nach meinem letzten Besuch, aber werde ich nie wieder dorthin gehen . Der Kellner war entweder super übertrieben aufgedreht freundlich oder absolut unverschämt. Der nahm meine Bestellung, aus welchen Gründen auch immer dreimal nicht auf, so dass mein Essen erst kam , als alle anderen bereits fertig gegessen hatten . Eine Beschwerde beim Vorgesetzten wurde einfach abgetan. Mit den Worten, kann ich jetzt leider nicht mehr nachvollziehen... So stelle ich mir. Professionelles Arbeiten nicht vor ! Vielleicht ruht sich das mariandl auf seiner traditionellen Beliebtheit aufgrund der Pianisten aus ? Sehr schade ...

Ein Hotel das hoffentlich noch lange so bleibt, wie es ist.
Kein Schnickschnack. Knarzende Holztreppen. Blinde Spiegel. Traditionelle original gebliebene Einrichtung. Offenes Herz für Musiker auf der Durchreise. Alles, was man braucht um sich zu Hause zu fühlen. WLAN top. Mehr Modernes wäre ein Verbrechen.
Bleibt bitte noch lange so.
