On the island of Ibo, in the heart of the old prison, coffee is grown. During the April 2019 cyclone, the coffee plantations that were kept on the roof terrace were blown away by the winds, but hopefully will return soon. From up there, there is a superb view of the island! Saidi is a member of the producers' association, he tells us all about the richness of Ibo's coffee, and its delicate taste, not too strong but tasty. Great gift idea: bags of ground coffee are available for 100 Mtn. Feel free to do a little tasting.
