MARCHÉ AUX MILLE BOUGIES

At nightfall in Mocimba da Praia, on 50 m, the vendors light candles, vaguely illuminating a pile of small things to eat, already cooked, at really derisory prices between 20 and 70 Mtn. We're here in the thousand-candle market. You will find fish fried in lime and piri-piri with xima or manioc, or grilled chicken legs, sweet or savoury fritters, in small or large sizes. But also delicious seasonal fruits for a sweet touch to the dessert.
