Travel Guide Chicamba

The Chicamba Real dam is worth the trip. First, you have to get to the crossroads of Garuzo, after a forest of pines and rubber trees coming from Chimoio. Then, from there, a track leaves towards the west. The road crosses beautiful plains, then goes up gradually. Below, it is the lake of the dam, with small peninsulas which advance and the mountains on the horizon. After, it is the descent, we arrive at Chicamba. The dam appears, impressive. It artificially occupies the space between two rocky and natural escarpments. The road will take you to the top, where the lake appears again. Further on there is a refreshment stand.
