ILE D'INHACA

Maputo residents love to go to Inhaca Island, just across the street, to enjoy the beautiful unspoiled beaches. There are two options to get there and make a day trip: take the public ferry (every day except Tuesday), which is cheap but takes 3 hours and leads directly to Inhaca. Or take an all-inclusive day trip, which is more expensive but lasts 45 minutes and includes a stop at Inhaca, Santa Maria beach, Ilha Portuguesa, snorkeling at the well-named "coral garden" spot, lunch and drinks.
