Designed for business travelers and tourists, the rooms are comfortable without being ultra-luxurious, but the choice and the service make it an address of standing. We like the reception in the lush gardens, the Fiamma restaurant with African and Mediterranean influences and the Pôr do Sol bar overlooking the garden and the pool.

Bloqués à Maputo à cause du mauvais temps (nous devions prendre le bateau pour Inhaca), nous avons passé une nuit à l'hôtel Cardoso, sans doute un des fleurons de cette ville qui ne ressemble pas à grand chose... L'hôtel tout blanc en forme de bateau domine la baie, dit comme ça c'est plutôt sympa, sauf que la baie est vraiment affreuse, l'eau y est toute marronnasse et l'environnement est plutôt moche ! L'hôtel propose des chambres confortables mais sans charme, la notre (catégorie supérieure) avec un petit balcon donnait donc sur la baie et sur les jardins et la piscine qui seraient assez agréables si il n'y avait pas en permanence le bruit de la circulation. En résumé, un hôtel plutôt pour businessmen que pour un séjour de charme...
